If anyone has a question about the beginnings or history of the Shrock Companies, Ruthie is the “go to” person to ask. She has been with the company longer than most all employees, held many positions, and has always served as one of Joseph Shrock’s “right hand people.” Many years ago, Ruthie was first introduced to Joseph Shrock through her bank position. He was so impressed with her service, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile, that he asked her to join forces with Shrock.

She has worked in a multitude of capacities for Shrock, and now as marketing manager for all divisions of The Shrock Family of Companies. Her current duties include monitoring and updating all of the various Shrock websites, social media posts, google business information updates, as well as taking pictures, creating videos, and editing digital media. And this is just to name a few of Ruthie’s many tasks!

The biggest challenge of Ruthie’s job is that there are not enough hours in the day; however, her rewards are helping others in making their job easier, and also in seeing that her work increases public awareness, increased business, and positivity towards the Shrock Companies. She is self taught, constantly learning through the many experiences and changes that each job brings.

Apart from Shrock, Ruthie loves to travel, her favorites trips being to the Dominican Republic and to Hawaii. She also loves day trips in her jeep, bonfires with friends, listening to music, spending time on the lake fishing and swimming and just being outdoors.

Ruthie and her husband, Dave reside in Butler, Ohio. They are proud parents of two grown sons and one grandson. As a family, they love watching OSU games and spending as much time together as possible.
